Hello all, first time poster here. Came across this site while snooping around for ideas for my 1971 Ford LTD Country Squire (400 cid, C6 trans, 9" rear - somebody pinch me!). Picked her up for $700 flat, with the odo reading 89,xxx (can't tell if she's turned over though... oh well). She's not quite road ready (no customizations yet - but, boy does she purrrrr... :yup:), but will be by the end of the month. I've got quite a few ideas for her and can't wait to ping them off some of you.

Anyhow, looking forward to geekin' out with you all.

    -Dan

p.s. - Named her "Carleen" after my aunt. They look identical from the back. :)

Hey man! I'm Ford all the way (I'll just forget to mention that I drove a Dodge Ram Cummins diesel for a while...)! Also working on a 1961 Falcon Ranchero (the "Ratcheapo"), and still pooring money into my Pop's F250 Powerstroke.

Welcome Dan. Lot of LTD owners on here....I have had 5 LTDs and out of that, three wagons. My '78 Country Squire has the 400cid, FMX trans, and 9' rear....what a road king!
