What a beautiful car Very nice!! I have a 1972 510 Sport Datsun Wagon Auto all original but having problems with the carb ..... it was recommended to replace it with the Weber Carburetor. Weber Carbs direct.com part # WK657 what's your thought's...
If I'm not mistaken this one had dual side draft Mukuni's or Delortos, a speed package that requires a little extra tuning on the top end.
Webers are reliable and there used to be plenty of near identicle Holley Pinto carbs around which were Holley-patended Weber-alikes. I once replaced the overly complicated Solex carb in my Opel GT with a Holley. It took me awhile to get the linkage right. But, it ran perfect afterwards. I used one of those to replace a Weber on a FIAT 124 convertible, after the Weber caught fire. The Holley ran nice in there too
I have the weber carb installed and it works great...replaced all the hoses, firing pattern is bang on....thanks for the help...Cheers!
