Yes sir! That's the correct kit and comes with the manifold adapter. The 32/36 DGV carb is one of the best carbs ever made for the 4cyl engine. Just set it and forget it!
Music to my ears Looking forward to getting and installing it..then going for a drive by the Atlantic ocean...thanks my friend
Mechanic This time I'll get it worked on by a automotive mechanic and not someone off of Kijji who has a degree in physics..IMO..but thanks for your kind thoughts
The original carb is a Hitachi 2bbl and the throttle shaft would be completely worn out by now which no carb kit in the world can correct. If the car has over 100K on it then its almost a guarentee the shaft is shot and dumping raw fuel down the primaries. I have seen the Weber carb fix this issue many times in my 23 years in parts.
We had a new member from the left coast that had a nice 510, wonder what happened to him? http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19446&highlight=datsun+510
Have no idea....I'm new to this car and only use to fuel injected cars....but my focus is on getting my 510 going so if you can help out please do so I'm open to all positive feed back.Cheers!!
