Is it just me or is the entire lower doors, rockers, and quarter panel look.....really messed up wavy?
I blew the pic up on the computer. Hard to tell, but to me looks like the lower doors are dented. Didn't see any dark spots indicating rust.
Nice looking wagon, but it would seem to be a very basic one for a Buick. Personally I like the flat roof, and the lack of a roof rack makes seem more sleek. Not sure about the engine work, though. With what has been done, it could be a bit thirsty, even with the overdrive. At first glance the body looks good, but as Tedy noticed, the lower doors don't look quite right, either. I'd want to give it a good, thorough going over in person to see.
That "dented" looking area on the lower doors is a digital anomaly from resizing the pic. If he would of stood closer and turned the phone sideways it would of helped. If the car was an originally restored earlier Sportie with the Vista roof it could go for that kind of money or more. Take away the 9K he wants to get back out of the engine and that's about what the car is worth IMO.
what about this one http://saskatchewan.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-classic-cars-1969-Buick-Sportwagon-W0QQAdIdZ485352206
