I'm most likely gonna use it for parts for my '69 country sedan and sell the leftovers this one has a lot more rot than mine. Mine is mostly in the tailgate surprisingly the tailgate is pretty good on this one!

I just noticed your avatar - that's the painting that Tommy's (Joe Pesci) mom (who is Martin Scorcese's mom in real life) painted in the movie "Goodfellas". After they get done whackin' Billy Batts in Henry's bar, they're taking him out to the country to bury him, but they stop by Tommy's house to get a knife (for the "deer" they hit), and Tommy's mom shows them the painting she just finished. De Niro I think comments that he likes the dogs "one's looking this way, one's looking the other way". Great stuff - love that movie!

If you don't use them yourself, the vacuum reservoir, vacuum motors, and headlamp switch are all hard to find items. Be sure to keep them. As long as you use them, these doors seem to be dead reliable, too.

Great score. After getting parts you need, you should have no problem getting your money back by parting it out.

I can't get over the 'dent' in the rear bumper! Don't know what that would be to cause that much damage to the bumper without damaging the rest of the rear end....

Real steel! AKA the 1969 version of a crumple zone, the bumper crumpled where as today the car would not even be drivable because of the crumple zone would inflict the entire rear of the car.......but we could debate that all day:rofl2:

I have hanging in my garage as wall art junk the rear of a 68 Cougar that I bout as a parts car years ago. It's rear bumper has a very heavy dent that resembles a pole (size of a stop sign etc) and it's a good punch yet the rest of the rear never got any damage. I also wondered how??? because there was no other damage. I've only kept the bumper because a old school trailer hitch is still attached......back when trailer hitches had no safety regulations:biglaugh:...... I, today would not even tow my garbage can with it's set up:rednose:

So much for hating these best offer ads! You scored! :yahoo:

I hope you convert your Country Sedan into this wonderful Country Squire with all of the wonderful parts! Hidden headlamps, woodgrain...what's not to love?

Please take a picture of the AM-FM stereo/radio, I've never seen one for this weird LH dash placement.

Does your Country Sedan have A/C?

I would be tempted to restore this Country Squire, but I'm glad you will be able to put it's parts to excellent use!

    David :)

My country sedan has A/c. I'm tempted to redo the squire but i think its gonna need too much. I'm gonna try and start it later on. I'll know more then.
