Finally installed me sticker from Carlisle this weekend. Makes the car faster. -Mike Yea but what about the fuel mileage?
Don't Rockets get great fuel mileage now? 50 gallons a second? How does that translate into rocket miles?
If you can find a good place for it Mike, i think a vintage 'Rocket Olds' emblem or nameplate would look good on your wagon.
It's a relief to know that all I have to do to my car is put an emblem on or a Rocket sticker under hood to increase my power! I had no clue. I got into a chat with the neighbor guys last night, the one said my car was a real mover. Instead of fostering that myth, I told them about the opinions of other 307 owners. If I recall without checking, the CC page in the brochure claims it can pull up to 5,000 lb. The way I drive and where I go anymore, the car has plenty of power for me.
I towed often with my '89 307-powered Custom Cruiser. It was never fast about it, but it would hold highway speeds.
That's great, and the brochure did say it could tow up to 5000 lbs. That was a great looking wagon, but your '92 isn't any less gorgeous. Nice to hear the 307 is a steady worker.
I'd love to have that '89 OCC back. Last I heard it was in Kansas. Thanks for the compliment on the '92 as well. The TBI 350 has a lot more power than the 307 did, but does not compare to the LT1's the later Longroofs have. Toys!
