Went to Point Mugu. You can see this is a real Surf Wagon because you have a wagon so the boards go inside. Camped overnight and crashed to the roar of some decent sized surf. The "New" Cobras' really help straighten out PCH and this is the best running car I've had in while. The massive bumpers have grown on me. The new tailgate. Nice Shape Pelicans. It's hard to catch Dolphins in the act.
Making me miss "da' Divemobile!" Hi Mugzilla and longroof beach goers, *Sniff* You are making me miss the days when my trusty wagon had scuba diving transport duties up and down the California coast and earned the nickname: "da' Divemobile!" Cheers, Edouard
My brother-in-law camped at that same spot from time to time. Lives in Camarillo. Unfortunately, all his RV stuff just burned up n the Camarillo Springs fire last week. Good looking wagon. Question is: Are you going to paint the tailgate to match the wagon, or paint the wagon to match the tailgate? Marshall
Nice wagon and love the scenery. That's the sort of camping I would like to do. So handy. Didn't seem busy either.
Yeah, does seem like a nice beach, wagon looks great also.......soooooo, where is the surf board???, complete with the dolphin flipping you and then the birds attacking???
That wagon looks so much like my 72 Gran Torino. I suppose the nose was about all that changed much. Love those wagons. About the beach, I don't ever remember seeing a California beach not filled with people. I'd like that. But the shark out there might have eaten everyone and some people don't like getting pooped on by wild birds. Gotta be some reason!
I made it out right before they closed PCH. I'm thinking White car with a blue tailgate with white stripes.
Knee board. I will display next time. Weekday camping off season. When I go up north there are lots of secluded beaches.
We used to find lots of secluded beaches and reasonably secluded campsites around all of Lake Michigan. Were some along east coast of Florida from top to close to Cape. But not much anymore for camping areas. I hate camping feeling like I'm in a trailer park. I think the most fun we had was with a pup tent and the Harley and then our Chevy low roofed van after we retired. Less is more----fun!
