He call me back and we transfer the money per Western union. This was on Monday last week. Until today i have no moldings and no mail and nothing. Buy nothing by this user - i think it´s a fake!!
There already was a post about this person on April 4, 2013 Don't know when you sent the money, but he was spamming other website members also, but they were leary because of his 0 posts. He was banned that very day that it was brought to the attention of the administration. Even Western Union advises not to send money by them unless you know who you are dealing with. Sorry to hear that you got burned... Seems that he has been spamming other websites also... http://www.xs650.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26438 I am posting his address that he used, so it will be picked up by the search engines and others might not get caught by this fraud... What year Caprice? I have a lot of 91-96 parts. I also go to the junk yards regularly and if there are parts available, I can get them. Shipping for large parts can get expensive unless you have a freight forwarder available in the US.
Kapitaenkurtl, I can attest to the honesty and integrity of Fred. If you deal with him he will show you the parts up front and you won't get cheated.
I am sorry to hear about this; I doubt you will be getting anything from him. After being alerted about his suspicious behavior and additional research by myself, I banned him. Money requests via Western Union are often used by scammers.
http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl looks like an abandoned building....im shocked! ( note: sarcasm)
Sorry to hear this. I someone here has them I may be able to help getting your parts to Austria if they are small and light.
I don't know if it's the same guy but the M.O. is always the same, NOS or used parts for any car ever made, the same goes for the guy in the Soviet Union. They're both legendary on other vintage auto sites. Just common sense tells you that they couldn't have warehouses full of NOS and used parts for American cars.
