    Thanks Mike, Rev and Dennis

The pictures don't show the flaws. All that solar exposure has pretty well trashed the door and window seals as well as the fiberglas trim and front dash pad.

If I knew there was enough interest, I would have the fiberglas trim remanufactured for all 69-70 Ford Country Squire wagon guys. Same maybe for the dash pad.

I'll have more pictures showing the "work ahead" in detail.

    In the garage at last...

Inside the garage for a better inspection. Tear down to start mid-April.

    Fiberglass trim.

Rough. No breaks but a life in sunny Arizo na and Colorado have pretty thoroughly trashed the fiberglass trim. Like I did as a kid, someone painted the trim with something white.

    1969 LTD Country Squire - 429-4V: Weigh-In

The new 69 Country Squire wagon weighed in at 4480 lbs.
My 2005 Chrysler Town and Country minivan was 4150 for camparison.

I was surprised as this was a good bit lighter than my old wagon with the same engine (4850 lbs). Must have been all the rust back then.
