Hi, I'm Andy, and I drive a white (so far) stock 1990 Chevy Cavalier wagon. I love it, but I want to customise it. I want to lover/bag it, add speakers, repaint it, and add electronics. The only thing I have is an Eclipse CD player, and it doesn't quite fit (it's about 1 1/2 in out from the housing) but I'm trying.

Oh, so there is a Cavalier guy here! I was just posting about the wife's car ('03 Cav 2-door) at J-body of Michigan and thought to check. Need pics! What engine's in it? Got anything special planned for the thing?

:oops:mg::You_Rock_Emoticon:.... someone actually knows what i'm on about?!? YES!!!i have a lot of pictures! it's a '90 4 door wagon and it has the 3.1L V6... i have a lot planned for it! I've put a cone filter instead of the stock air box, i'm actually thinking about lowering it, putting fog lights and new rims/tires on it. I want to buy the big bore throttle body for it and maybe some underdrive pulleys. i got BIG plans haha! so what about you?

Well.. you know ... if they hadn't killed the Cav wagon, we just might have one by now .... :p

Cam swap! Cam swap! (actually, I know more about 4-bangers than V6s, even though my 4-banger knowledge is quite limited, but I know either Comp or Crane makes a cam for the 60 degree V6)

Unfortunately, no mods are planned for our Cavalier at present - wife's orders, since it's her car and all. I do hope to locate a set of 15" rims for cheap, provided I can convince her it's cost-effective.

BTW? tbirdsps? My family used to have an ESCORT wagon! 1.9L progressive 2-barrel/three-speed automatic that would barely chirp the tires with a neutral slam! So there!

Personally, I want a Vega wagon to play with one of these days... or maybe a Malibu. But Fordland is hard to escape when you've got a garage full of parts. :D
