This appears to be a short notice, but here goes. There are about 10-12 wagon guys from the Longroof Forum going to the spring Turkey Run at Daytona. We are staying at the LaQuinta inn. The hotel room rate for "longroof forum group" is $64 per night. Preregistration online is $25, and at the gate $30. You have until the 2nd of March to register with the discount http://www.turkeyrun.com/online_registration.html You have to send pics, and the car has to be accepted for the show. If you show up in the wrong car, you may not get the car in. The Longroof Forum is mainly geared to 90s full size GM wagons (Caprice, Roadmaster, Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser) but we do have a growing group of box body guys. I am signed up. Whe are having a cookout at the LaQuinta on Saturday night, everybody chips in, and has a great time.

We drove our 65 Impala convertible to the Turkey Run last year. Hope to have our 65 Impala wagon at least road worthy by next November to attend. The trip from Ohio was fun. Seeing Daytona and the speedway was awesome. Driving on the beach made my day.
It's only 140 miles and we are gonna miss it again this year.....Whaaaa! Too many doctor appointments. Why did we get old? That price of motel is very good.
