On a budget, so I found some old "turbine" style rims at the Pull A Part a couple of months ago. I've attached a before and after pic, after cleaning one up. They were nasty. In between the spokes was black from corrosion. I used aluminum bright and a toothbrush to clean them up. Hands were killing me, and were covered in blisters. After I bought the wheels, I bought an original brochure on Ebay to discover that these turbine style wheels were an original option for the LTD II. Thought that was purdy cool.

    Thanks guys!

Yup, mine are aftermarket. Not sure if they're American Racing, as I couldn't find anything on the actual wheels. But, they had the 5-ear American Racing center caps on them. I had to replace them.

those wheels came on Tbirds in 5x4.5 and on the Lincolns in 5x5...the Lincoln's were a hair different from the Tbirds if I recall ?
the Birds had a pop in center cap and the Linc's had 3 little nipples that held the larger cap :)
I have a crap load of the Tbird wheels in the shed still;)

but those look like old AR..or US wheels

look good all cleaned N2 !!!
