I hate these intro things because I never know what to say.
    So here goes!

Age: Old enough to know better, young enough not to care.
    Sex: Yes.
Marital status: not at the moment
    occupation: service writer
hobbies: creative writing, photography, music, reading
Good habits: I bathe every day.
bad habits: I smoke. Don't drink, use drugs, or chase women any more, (I kept catching them!)
Besides, my knees are shot and I can't run any more.

Anything else it too private to talk about on a family-friendly board, so that's all I have to say for now.
I stand on my 5th Amendment rights against self-incrimination!:)

So you live in the South West Indian Ocean.:)
I've never heard of the "None" brand you have as your vehicle?
Is that a South West Indian Ocean car company?:biglaugh:

:Welcome:I think. As a service writer you should be able to tell a lot about yourself, your wagons, or the reason you joined. If you have a station wagon we'd like to see and hear about it/them. If not, we'd be glad to help you find one.
A few of us are old enough to know better but don't remember or care about sex, politics, religion, or much of anything except our beloved station wagons.
My wife is still married because she knows she can't do any better if she looks.
My occupation is still pending. I'm waiting for a government job where I get paid a lot for doing little or nothing. But that's political and I try not to get involved.
My hobbies are playing with my old cars and young women.
I have no good habits and I gave up bathing unless I get caught in a hard rain.
Bad habits----- Yes! But I don't smoke.
Hope you enjoy this forum and learn a lot. It really is a fun family place to learn, share, and enjoy. Standing on the 5th, or drinking one, will not help you. If you don't share we'll make something up. It's the American way!:rofl2:

Welcome to the nut house. You're going to fit in just fine around here! Some of us are also old enough to know better, but we are also old enough that even if we did care, we couldn't do anything about it. Or else we'd forget what we knew better than to do.

When it comes you your car, be sure to let us know if you are looking. I'm certain we can help you find just the right car. We'll TRY not to let it go on as long as Krash Kadilac's hunt. Then again, he found the unicorn at the end of the rainbow, so the long hunt was probably worth it.

Be sure to check in regularly, and post! As a service writer, you will have knowledge and experience that the rest of use can use, just as some of us have knowledge that you may be able to use. Most of all, this joint is like a family. Have fun around here.

I like your answers, Marshall. I might just use them elsewhere.
Unfortunately, I am without wheels at the moment. I am trying to talk a nice little old lady into selling her pristine, one owner, 66,000-mile, 1961 Ford Falcon Tudor wagon. So far, no luck, but I'm not going to give up.

Soon, I hope. I'm tired of walking. I'm too old for much of that.

Finnaly! A Forum With People AS Mad As Me!

Wel, I love wagons, and I have since I was a kid. I just think that they are so cool!
Today's cars all look like jelly beans with wheels that were left out in the sun too long. Can't tell a Chevy from Ford, From a Honda, etc. etc.
I drove my first wagon at the age of three. It was a bright yellow 1956 Country Sedan Tudor. I was playing in it and put in neutral and it rolled across the street and hit a tree, The damage was minor but Mom was still not very happy with me or my brother. (He put me in the car to play so that I wasn't bugging him.)
Been a wagon man ever since.

As for habits, good and bad, we all have them. I just need more of one and less of the other. I ain't saying which is which.

    Oops!

Mike, I guess that I should have gone into more detail about my job. I am a service writer, but not for a dealership or anything like that.
I work at Wal-Mart's Tire, Lube, Express. I should have made myself clear.
Believe me, it is a very dull and boring job with moments of sheer rage.
But it's a job. At 58 years of age and partially disabled, it was about the only job I could find in this crappy economy.
    Especially in a college town.
Anyway, I'm sorry for not making myself clear.

    Please don't beat me!:hide:

    Robert
