Unfortunately Holden being part of GM is going to be killing off the commodore after 2016. It'll most likely be replaced with the Impala (which we never got here) and the Ford Falcon rival is also going to be killed off around the same time and replaced with the Taurus... suffice to say, many, myself included, are unhappy about this, especially in the case of Ford (which I actually prefer) because despite having an amazing car in the current FG Ford Falcon (have fairly recently driven an XR6 - base sports 6 model - I speak from personal experience) but the useless marketing team has done virtually no marketing of it at all...
