No road trip is complete without some beaver nuggets, camo popcorn and sour cherry balls from Buc-ee's!
In my younger days, I was quite fond of beavers, but now all I can do is look at them and admire them...........
June Cleavers comment..........."Ward, you were a little rough on the Beaver". isn't true... This is what she really said......... http://mortystv.com/beaver_low.shtml
I believe it's only in Texas. Not sure. Kind of a HUGE modern Stuckey's. The new Buc-ee's in New Braunfels is HUGE....it has 60 gas pumps, a full resteraunt, a bakery, a meat market with great BBQ, and there Slurpee machine on EVERY endcap in the gigantic food store area, and bathrooms nicer than most 4-star hotels (individual stalls with polished granite trim). They also sell booze, deer corn, fishing gear, and even rifles and ammo! It's a little nuts! -Mike
Never ever heard of the place. I've also never been to Texas. But now I just gotta go............................. I mean I really gotta go! The only thing we have not far away with a lot of billboards along I-75 may be classified as similar to Buc-ee's is south of Gainesville, Fl., Cafe' Risque! I won't make a beaver reference because this is a family forum.
