    Do I understand correctly that the weatherstripping for the rear doors of a 71-76 GM wagon are different than a 4 door car? I was hoping to just order the weatherstripping for a 4 door sedan.

    Thanks,
    Brandon

    I don't know for sure, but I wouldn't doubt it. I know on my wagon the rear doors are different from a sedan.

    I assumed that the hardtop doors would work, but do you mean that a Chevy and Pontiac are not interchangeable and the Chevy is 4 inches shorter than other models??

    Thanks,
    Brandon

    Just looked at the '71 Pontiac brochure on line....
    It sure looks like the rear wagon doors are very similar, if not identical to a Bonneville 4-door sedan rear door. I would think that if you could only find a sedan weatherstrip, you should be able to make it work.

    EDIT: They are different - up around the top rear window frame corner.

    Maybe I'll hear from someone that has replaced the seals on a Clamshell and see what they did.

    They ARE different than a sedans. I think total length is a little longer. I just bought a set of Metro's from RockAuto and they fit like a glove. About $50 for a pair of doors. Best price I could find anywhere.

    Check out www.rockauto.com .

    Does that mean Dano Enterprises had a lower price than everybody or ripped everybody off?

    Rockauto = $56.79
    Danno = $60.00

    Above is for a front door or rear door set (left and right).
