You never know what you will stumble on when on Vacation. On a recent trip to Bull Head City AZ we stumbled on what we Named the Swiss Chees Safari. (for those not into Pontiac's The Swiss Cheese cars were 63 Super Duty cars with extreamly lighted frames that reminded people of Swiss Cheese.) This poor Catalina Wagon Was abandoned and used for Target practice. I think the master cylinder may be Salavagable with some work.

My wife thought it was a work of art.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Unfortunately, no room in my yard for it.

Thanks. My brother lived in Bull Head for years. He always told me cars hold up really well out there. This one is sure nice.:49:
It amazes me with scrap prices so high there are still abandoned cars in these places.

The thing is - this is an honest car

How often have we complained that there must be some hidden body work or rust under all that paint, upholstery, etc. Nothing is hidden. They've ensured that a person can inspect in great detail every piece of what is left, having created a series of inspection holes.

    You guys are really Funny!!!!!!

Were this car was, off a dirt road between Bull Head City and route 66. And I don't think it would be economical to pick up and scrap as I did not see a Junk Yard when I was in BH City, the largest town in the area.

I suspect it was an old stolen car dump the front frame with engine cradle and all the VIN tags had been cut out. Looked like it had been there for decades!!!!
