    Hey all,

My name is David and I'm looking for a Wagon. Our family is outgrowing our current mini-wagon (2005 Mazda3 5door, we love it, it's just small) and we're thinking about getting an classic wagon instead of a modern mini-van. This is the wife's idea, and I'm all behind it. I've got a 87 Land Cruiser for my hobby, and we're looking for a 50s-70s wagon to be a long term family hauler.

We are one lucky bunch of puppies, when the SWMBO is onside for a wagon! Good luck with the search. Check our 'For Sales' and glad you came by. :Welcome:

North Myrtle Beach, SC here :)

Find yourself a nice, clean 91-96 Caprice or Buick Roadmaster wagon. The early ones, up to '93 have the 305 or optional 350 5.7 liter and the '94+ have the LT1 detuned Corvette motor which is better for performance but requires more costly repairs and less MPG.

These are huge wagons, the Buick's have the most options [luxury ~ ie; leather, power accessories, etc...] while the Caprices are the "Plain Jane's". You get great dependability, comfort, safety [vehicle size + airbags], all the room you'll need and 20-26 MPG!

Did I mention CHEAP SC taxes due to the year and CHEAP insurance too :)

I'm currently modifying a 1993 Buick Roadmaster Estate wagon. They are GREAT vehicles and the ease of personalization [wheels, etc...] and repairs makes them an excellent choice.

    Drive one, you'll love it!
