hi! my name's nick, i live in bochum, germany. together with my girlfriend i live in an old coal mine building, where we have a little garage/hall for our cars. we have 7 at this time, none of them younger than 30 years. but all of them low budged cars in a good shape, no restauration project, all driving. our newest one is a 72 satellite station regent, nearly a gemini of the one of user amar67 here in this forum. that's why i found this here, because i googled some pics of these cars... it has a 400cui big block in it. that's it for now, if you're interested in some pics of our german cars, i could look for some pics of them. but unfortunately there is no more station along them, i just sold one, which was too much work to do on it, a ford taunus station wagon. cute one, but it had to go for the big one...
Nick. How unique to live in a coal mine building. Hope you got all the coal dust swept up.I always wanted to live in an old barn or gas station remodeled. Have fun here in the station wagon forum.
Hello Nick, glad you found your way here. I was researching info for my wagon when I stumbled onto this site. It's a great source of useful and not so useful information, also alot of fun. Nice looking wagon, congratulations on your newest purchase. Pics are always good if you can manage it.
ok, here some more pics: the red one is my 1975 ford taunus, have it since 9 years, best car i ever had. been nearly everywhere around europe with this buddy. the blue one is the ford taunus station, i just sold. this my everyday driver, 1982 w123, and our yamaha sr500 from 1979. these are my girlfriends cars, w116 280se and a /8 coupe ex 250, now with a 240 diesel engine. thats it.
Welcome to the madness Nick! I saw that SR500 bike, it's a rare one, I've got a '78 Yam XS500E in original condition but needing at least a front master cylinder overhaul. Where do you find parts for yours?
