I used to joke and say "Yugo, I'll stay"! Then i ended up buying one for $150. It was only two years old and it ran, I jumped on the 'deal'. Drove it a couple of months before it lost all compression. The Buick/Yugo dealer mech told me to just junk it. I had it for sale @ $100 for another couple months without anyone even looking. Along came time for me to get out of the Navy, I had a '70 c10 stepside and an '80 citation and a '86 yugo. I left the signed title on the front seat of the Yugo, and towed the citation home to Oregon.
Yugo? What yugo? All I can see is that really cool, gorgeous hunk back there. What is it...the black car on the left?
1973 Mustang 302 Automatic. Best I can say about it, is that it didn't have a vinyl roof. Plane Jane, nothin' fancy. owner was a $%^&*. That's not nice, I guess I mean he wasn't an ACTIVE @#$%^, I just didn't really click with him, he was from Maine, I don't remember his name.
Back in the late 80's or early 90's my mom was looking for a car. She showed some intrest in a Corvette. The salesman told her if she bought the 'vette he would give her a Yougo for her son. I am so glad she didn't buy the vette!!!!
