    My 4 and a half year old Grand Son Ty, was kicked by a horse last evening while spending time with his dad who was mending a fence on their farm near McGrath Alberta. He suffered a broken cheek, a skull fracture, broken ribs. He was rushed to hospital where they are doing what they can for the pain while trying to minimize the swelling on the brain. they will be doing a number of CT scans this morning along with other tests this morning.

    Sue is devastated Spent most of the night up talking with her while we waitted for more news to come in from Alberta.

    Your prayers seem to be working, he's awake and alert, talking, complaining about the pain, and wanted to watch tv. they have to keep him a little sedated so he don't try to move around too much. At this time we are still waiting on the results of the CT scans.

    Sounds like a tough little guy. Youth is definitely an advantage I would think in this case for a speedier recovery. Glad he's doing a little better. Know he's probably got a long way to go.

    Thanks guys the prayers and good thoughts sent his way have worked.
    He is doing good and is on the road to recovery. Still swollen, and bruised but that will heal in time just as the skull and clavicle fractures should heal up in about 6 weeks or less.

    He is loving all the attention
