Well, like the title says, i have been hanging out on this forum for quite some time now, and I decided maybe it's time to introduce my self. I'm Dave, and I am the proud owner of two large station wagons, a 1995 Chevrolet Caprice Classic Wagon, and a 1992 Buick Roadmaster Wagon. The Caprice is a "well used," rusty beast with 313,000 and some odd miles, and it has been painted (poorly) with Gloss White Rustoleum Spray Paint. It has been a fun car, and man is it fast (LT1 powered,) but it is at the end of the line cosmetically, and comfort wise. The Roadmaster is a relatively well-kept 1992 with 153,000 miles and change, and although not as fast as the LT1, the TBI 350 with 3.23 gears keeps it moving and will take a flat black Honda from time to time. She comes complete with Woodgrain, Burgundy leather interior, a fair share of rust common to cars from Wisconsin, and Power everything. Unlike some of you guys, I have no "wagon heritage." My parents never had a wagon while I was growing up, in fact, we always had foreign cars when I was a kid. However, my grandfather always had Caprices, and when the 91 came out, I just had to have one. I did from 04-07, and then I found the tri-centennial wagon. Now the sedans just look so small and useless. Well thanks for looking, and here's the pics! As the Roadmaster sits: My plans for this summer: The Caprice (Trust me, It doesn't look this good anymore, someone didn't spend as much time prepping it for paint as they should of) :
to the forum. I take it these were not recent woody Roadmaster photos. Or your summer was a bit cooler than when we were in Illinois. Nice lookin wagons. At least in the pictures.
Chevy guy hasn't been here for 3 years guys. Good of you to make him feel welcome but I have a feeling he'll never know how welcome he really is.
FANNIE IS FUNNY!!! This is the third old thread bumped today as if the OP is still waiting for the responses.
