    Took the day off today to take in the sights and sounds of Drag Week as it roared through Memphis. Here are the longroofs I spotted.

    This turbo Nova runs easy 8's.

    This rather pedestrian appearing Fairmont runs low 8's at 170 with a turbocharged 430 Windsor.

    This beautiful Chevelle wagon is a local car and a buddy of mine who was just out spectating.

    This 4-speed Ranch Wagon screams like a banshee! Looks like they had some hood issues and they removed it to race.

    Thanks for posting the pics! I saw the blue ranch wagon race a couple of years ago - it gets faster each year.

    Looks like that Ford wagon's hood blew open during a run?
    Old Fords are known for that, don't ask me how I know.:cry:
    That LS powered Corvair wagon is very cool. :)
    Probably pushes like a dump truck going around corners, but who cares about going around corners??:D

    hey krash what do you wanna know about the corvair. he was my little baby brother on the power tour for a few days . it was a 62 i believe that he cut the wagon body off the frame and mounted it on a 80's regal chassis .then he installed a ls1 and on the tour at gateway he did a 12.8 rolling right in off the tour . he has a few ls powered corvairs but that was the only wagon
