Picked up a couple electric fans for his malibu and I had a broken driverside mirror on my wagon so I found one for $6  I was looking at new ones last night and they were $100+ so the used one was just great. It was a uneventful trip nothing really interesting was even in the yard except a '73 chevelle SS with nothing left good but dad and I did talk about getting my wagon going. He knows after working all day with my knees it is hard to stay and finish up my motor not to mention lack of extra funds right now so he told me I should just put his 383 stroker in my wagon since all I need to do is buy a convertor for tranny and a carb. It is complete and running the carb is just bad and needs either rebuilding or replacing. I may just do that but still unsure.
Anyway, after walking in rocks at the Junkyard for a couple hours it is time to shower take anti inflammatory and relax rest of the day.

I remember the days when you could go to the scrap yard ,see what wagons they had and buy a car to go with the parts.Full sized wagons were a dime a dozen. Now here anyways they dont keep old cars.I used to love walking around and figuring out how things came out of someone elses car.I actually found one of my old cars at a auto wrecker about 4 years after I sold it
