It is a good-looking car, but I've heard that the Teletouch transmission controls were a real pain. If it were mine, it would have had the trans swapped out for a three-on-the-tree.

The horn ring is approximatly the two thirds circle innerchrome ring on the steering wheel. Very nice Edsel and report.

would have had the trans swapped out for a three-on-the-tree.

No way. There are few original cars and wagons of any style left. leave it alone!

I always thought the taillights on the Edsel Wagon looked as if they grabbed some leftover pieces from the parts bin and stuck them on the back of a Ford.:camera:
Otherwise, I like the Edsels in general, and this one in particular.
    GO, Martha!

Henry bought Edsel a boomerang and a plough horse as a child.

Nice wagon . . . not so sure about da' owner!

    *Heavy Sigh*

If Martha Stewart has something to do with it . . . . . there usually is something wrong. :(

I won't really believe it is her wagon when someone posts video of her actually washing and waxing the car all by herself and the car still looking as nice as it does!

Oh well, even if it Martha Stewart's money that saved that wagon - at least it has been saved.

    Cheers, Edouard :beerchug:

I wished my daughter would give me a restored old car or wagon. I guess after I get out of prison she will think about it. It's amazing how some excons or exdruggies live.
It really is a nice station wagon and the shack she lives in part time ain't bad either. .

maybe the horse collar is real. maybe they had a "One Horse Power" model available(also includes heavier duty wipers and a little christmas tree air freshener for the mirror)...... kinda the alternative fueled car for its time.

I actually liked the looks of the early Edsels. Thought 57 Chevys were too "busy" compared to 55-56 models.

There was one 58 'Roundup in attendance this weekend at the vintage trailer event, pulling a trailer of about the same year and painted the same way as the wagon. Very nice set up.

One other fellow there has a '58 as well but so far he has not brought it out. I think he was highly motivated to get it finished so he can tow his stunning '61 Holiday House trailer with it next year.

And of course there is Rev's and we are hoping that he will have his Edsel wagon out and about next year. His wagon towing his gorgeous Silver Streak trailer will be quite the set up.
