Hmmm, not going to touch that last one...booze in Utah is strange (like everything else when you're not mormon) it only can be bought at a state run liquor store, not even kidding a cop bags your bottles, prices can be outrageous or dirt cheap, seems to be nothing in the middle...some days I wonder why I still live here.

Neither is Pa. we have state run liquor stores. where you buy wine and the hard stuff. all beer must be purchased from distributors and by the full case (2-12 packs) only you can get it from bars but no more than a 6 pack...and usually only swill. which really sucks if you are into micro brews. (try one and it sucks..you have to pitch or choke down 23 more) luckily for me i live 25 min from an awesome bottle shop in Bordman Ohio.

they have been trying to rectify this for the last couple years but the Dems in the state Gov. keep blocking it saying we need to protect the state store employees...ya know...the $15 per hour casheirs...who act like *******s because they wont get fired and have no competition.

We're here for ya fannie. Never could see the purpose of spendin money to burn something and make my teeth and fingers yeller! Rather have a candy bar. They are healthy! Right?
Besides everything I do takes two hands.
Both our parents smoked nonstop and most friends. Somehow we resisted temptation. Even back when smoking was Kool!
With all the talk and warnings about how unhealthy smoking is it amazes me all the young whippersnappers who smoke yet.
Whippersnapper, a Canadian slang word meaning??????????????
Be happy, go Lucky. Or I'd walk a mile for a............. Hershey bar !

As we sat in Hardee's yesterday, me eating my biscuits-n-gravey after having blood drawn for a cholesterol test, some old coots were discussing smoking. (Biscuits-n-gravey, one of those things my silly doctor said causes high cholesterol).
Those guys were telling some tear jerking stories of how they nearly died because they couldn't breath anymore. (Breathing, something very important while eating biscuits-n-gravey).
Had we been smokers I think we would have stopped after those stories. You may think smoking does not affect your health. It really does. It's a amazing my wife and I aren't affected by secondary smoke from many years of sucking it in at home and at work. Dollie's dad died of Infaziema at 57 years of age. Looked 110 at the time.
I am not a doctor but I play one often on the internet. (You can tell by how I spelled infaziema) Please stop smoking. I'll miss you! And think of all the crap you can buy for your station wagons with the small fortune you will save.

And I thought being prohibited from pumping your own fuel in Oregon was silly...that's just insane!

I pay around $4.50 a pack out here, which I find unacceptably high...yet with all the chemicals that are in cigarettes these days, I'm amazed I smoke at all.

It is odd some of the fuel useage laws. We are from Illinois. I remember when Iowa first had self serve and we saved a nickle a gallon by pumping our own. It was already under 50 cents a gallon. Wonder how much discount we are getting now for pumping our own gas?
For you smokers, why not just smoke while pumping that fuel? Go out with a big bang. Save all the pain and suffering of lung and heart desease later !

You have someone pump your gas in Oregon??? Amazing, I didn't know that was still possible to find. Most of our stations are self serve and there might be one pump with full serve but you pay a cents more. On our first trip to NH, that was the first to time we ever came across a pay before you pump station. They are slowy starting to appear around here.

CE I used to smoke way back when I was a cool chick, between high school and #1 son. When I found out I was pregnant I quite cold turkey, gain about 100lbs only to have an 8lb baby:49:...crap! Nine months to put on all that weight and two years to get it off, then came #2 son.
I used to have cravings the first year my son was born. I tried it once, I got so dizzy and almost throw up...then the other part of my brain clicked in, called me an idiot and wanted to know why I was doing this? I've never smoked or even wanted to since. #1 son will be 32 in a few weeks. That's right if your doing the math I was seven when I had him. :D

Some of us only have one part of our brains active...Well semi-active.
Are you still dizzy often? Are you a blonde?
Seven? And I was always under the impression those rednecked southerners bred young!
Congradulations on listening to the other half of your brain. You are not an idiot! And we still think you are a Cool Chick!

Oh dear I can see where this is going to lead...here we go...

My understanding is that some folks have one part of their brain working and women have two parts of their brain working. Blondes sometimes fall in the first category and burnette's always fall into the second. :D

    Thanks man

Of course this report was probably created by woman! Possibly a blonde woman. But maybe a brunette.
But thanks for being among us few nonsmokers.
I am confused on how you separated "some folks" and women. I have a feeling I am among those "some folks."
The real truth of the grey matter is we all use diferent sides and parts of our brains for different things. Of course there are those who don't know left from right and others who use very little of what they have.
