Hey I am a fan of the AMC Eagle, just not a fan of the Seagle contraption.

Eagles are great. Ours was a great handler in the snow, just a lemon mechanically. My folks haven't owned one since 90 or 91 and my dad still talks about it. He had me looking for one about 6 months ago for him.

When that was posted on the Eagle forum I frequent, I can't of one person who liked that abomination. In case some of you are wondering wagonmaster changed my username for me to Eagle Freek since the Mustang SVO that I owned for 22.5 years left my driveway for the last time this morning.

I'm sorry to hear that. It's hard to let a car go you've had for that many years. I haven't had that pain yet. I get picked on cuz I go through cars at a rate of about 2 a year.

OMG, I finally meet someone who is as restless as me! I have the same problem, although my average is about 1 a year now. Biggest problem for me now is to explain, but mostly convince my SWMBO that we really need a new car!

That's because kids and car-hobbies compete for the same cashflow... :D

Yup, my amount of car purchases has greatly increased. My girlfriend whom I was very serious with (we were engaged) said it was her or my car hobby after I bought my 58 Chevy. Well, needless to say, I have my 58 Chevy. We always had spent all our time driving around, but I had had the same Crown Vic interceptor for a year. We split up, I sold it as it was the only memory of her left.

Well, I bought the one thing she said she absolutely refused to let me buy, but I had always wanted, a big old wood-panelled wagon.

That's the only way to have a wagon if you ask me. Don't get me wrong, there's some beautys without, but if woodgrain came as an option, mine's gonna have woodgrain on it!

Yep, a touch of class. I like some of the early 60's Mopar wagons too. They did a nice job with stainless steel panels on the rear quarters of their big wagons too.
