There is no counter balance. Look at the top middle of the door. There is a handle. The door is not heavy to pull up

    (y) That would have been my choice as well, primarily because I'm a BOP fan.

Both are nice cars, but I like yours better... better line's to me. The rear shots say it all. Plus, the Buick is "your" car. It's you.

Well I believe the Buick is moving to a new home:cry: I hope the new owner loves it as much as I do. So the hunt is on for a new wagon. Didn't buy the tan Chevy either, so I am soon gonna have NO wagons. That is scary

Swanny, we are not finished with you yet! The question was----Which Clamshell would you keep ----- Not which should I get rid of. Therefore confusion has arisen here in the forum. Unless it involves sex, drugs, crime, or a deep dark secret we'd like to know wuzzup man ? Especially if it involves sex.:rofl2:

Well I had every intension to keep the Buick. But I sat back and thought about it and the board member on here had already told me he would buy the wagon at the agreed price. I decided I could not go back on my word after we struck the deal. I am a man of intigrety and my word is my word. He has not picked it up yet as I have had some medical problems with my father. However, for some reason if he does not pick it up it will stay here and not be going up for sale again. Silverfox, this is my favorite wagon I have EVER owned. I have had a 74,76 Pontiac, 72,74,75,76 Chevy, and a 73 Buick. There is another wagon out there for me.........somewhere. And like I said, if the forum member does not buy it thats okay, but I will not go back on my word after I told him I would sell it.

You are a gentleman and maybe a scholar Swanny sir. I know how you feel.
Similarly way back many years ago I traded my 55 Chevy wagon even up for a piece of crap 49 Ford customized coupe. The owner lived less than 10 miles from me and belonged to our car club. We drove our wagon 140 miles to a Daytona car event where we made the trade. We thought the owner also drove the 49 Ford over. No way, the car was not in condition to make it across town, let alone to Daytona.
After it was unloaded from a trailer 1/2 mile from our home and driven there, I discovered it was not the kool custom we thought it was. But we shook on the deal at Daytona and I traded. [
Yes, a man's word used to be good as gold!
Thanks for telling us this. We really didn't need to know. But we care about your Buick and you. Now tell us about sex and violence in Northern :yahoo:Illinois!
