rear hardware kit 12" drums

    hi all
    its crazy, but i can not find a hardware kit for my 75 Grand Safari with 12" drums.
    all the kits i found are only for the 11" drums:cry:
    any ideas ?

    What size rear brakes did a mid 70's GM 1/2 ton truck have? I'll bet they are the same. If not, very close.

    look for a kit for a rear wheel drive Cadillac from the early 1960's through the 1980's.. They are all the same.

    its for 12" brakes:29:

    The only thing that will possibly be different are the "nails" that hold the brake shoes to the backing plate at approximately 3 & 9 o'clock. The 12" brake shoes come in 2 1/2" and 3" versions for the Cadillacs. Replacements are sold in a box of 4 at Carquest or NAPA. Don't forget to clean and lube the threads on the self adjusters, and don't get the left mixed up with the right. Common error, since they both look the same. If you are not sure, pull the cap off, and it should be marked on the end.
