so i got busy this past week. jenn an Delaney went to disneyland with her parents so i have had the house to myself all week. did some heavy duty redding up (pittsburghese for cleaning) and i have been having late days at work so i didnt get to enjoy it much...but hey ...the house isn't trashed...which it usually is about 10 minutes after i clean. ( i am the clean one out of our relationship...much to my mothers surprise!). next time she leaves with her parents...i am taking the week off too. and staying home.
I too enjoy the occational time at home alone here and there. When my wife goes on a business trip once a year or when she goes to the beach with a friend or two (I am not a lay out in the sun at the beach type of person), I stay home to take care of the doggie and the cats. It can be nice and relaxing. I also take off work usually that week. Do little things around the house and enjoy "laying about". You do need so down time every now and then.
Slow down time? Iz that what you call it when I get into my "BEACHED WHALE" mode and look for holes in my eyelidz
It is nice to get the house to yourself every now and then. It doesn't happen around here very often...enjoy.
I missed this thread....Ian, your doing better than I do! I seem to allways get lost when my honey leaves...... I eat better, well eat what I'm not suppossed to but the dogs like it.....untill lately, now they just put up with my food My honey is going to go to Diz-land with her sister and her 2 boys next year. I was there in 1972 I believe, remember it beiing a blast happy bachelor, BBQ,,,,BBQ all and everythiong while you can
