Finally drove the GL today, finished the brakes on it and took it for a little drive. First time in 5 months. :yahoo:

Ok. Clutch is slipping pretty good, have some sputtering, loud as hell with just the header. My brake lights don't work, but the rear parking lights do (Dual Filament bulb) brake fluid light flickers. So I dunno.

More shiz I gotta sort out.

The dash lights were simple , just and old fuse... The rear tailgate on the passenger side was out of line, we adjusted the latch and catch.. all good

Okay, you guys have been coaching my wife haven't you!!!!!!!!!!

I wondered where she was coming up with all these ideas:naughty:

Like I need a hardhat, I need to do this and that. Oh man, that is worse than the head banging and finger slicing. Well, maybe not the finger bit, hurts like the dickens today. That is a good thing for me by the way as I typically have very little feeling in my hands other than the tingle you get when you wallop your elbow on something. Still have that, but can actually feel the finger throbbing. A mixed blessing I guess.

I think today I won't do anything that involves the hoist. Or the licence plate. :rofl2:

Maybe that bang to the head helped the feeling in your hand...you know a helmet isn't a bad idea.

I'm going to have nightmares tonight Fannie after seeing this picture. If I hit my head enough times I might actually think a helmet like this is cool and start wearing it when driving the Safari :slap:.

Now I could see Tedy needing a helmet like this after his little episode of just two weeks ago. Mind you he would likely scare the bejabbers out of the pups so maybe he'd better not pull his out of the closet.

You know who this would really suit particularly since he is not here to defend himself - CAT. Yeah, this would make a great helmet for him on his trips back to the old home town.

At the Dick Miller Olds meet at Norwalk, OH a couple of week ago, I turned a new best ET, a new best MPH and lifted a tire. Very excited about ALL of that! Wagon has run a best of 12.275 @ 107.48 :2_thumbs_up_-_anima
