Been away from wagons for a while, But I see KK here saw my thread on the JJ HAMB on the rebuild of this wagon... I did find a post about the Craiglist add on this wagon... I went and bought it the next day(lucky the guy worked nights towing cars) Long story short, he would not budge on the asking price what so ever(he did his home work , and I did also) So he wasn't out of line seeing what I found for his asking price out there (yikes) . Long story short, the engine was shot(seized) the brake were shot, wiper motor , etc( still need to fix the dash lights).. So it now has a Pontiac 400 with Turbo 400(thanks again Kevin) .. Brake are all new ( new power booster ouch !) 15" American racing TTO's with 215/70-15 ribbon white walls. new dual exhaust yesterday, so one 1962 Poncho saved and back on the road ! (y)

Good for you. I love those cars. I was surprised at just how quickly it disappeared. Glad it has gone to a good home. And I like the wheel combo, power train looks real good, hope to see it in person in the future.

    Thank you !

It was a labor of love, I was keeping it under wraps(but KK found me out on the JJ) I pretty much had the car towed back to Tacoma, and Thunfield Rod And Custom went to work (alot of work) Still need to fix the speedo, dash lights, and other small things...The power rear window is gummed up with old grease, it moves to about a third way down with help, but need to clean and rear grease parts. Plans are to have the hood repainted and roof ( I'm think she had a tarp over it in a car port) hood and roof paint is shot... Kept the steel rims, and caps.. The cool twin pinner ribbon white walls that were on the front were Mobil Oil brand tires there pretty dry-rotted... But I spent a about four hours yesterday polishing stainless and chrome by hand( got a nice sunburn also OUCH !)
