We're searching for wheels for our wagon...she still has original spokes. But a little nervous to purchase...want to make certain bolt pattern matches up. What do you guys think of these. The guy is asking $50.00 for all four. I possibly have no idea what I'm doing ha, my hubby is at work and can't search the web like me. I stumbled upon these today.

The bolt pattern on the B body wagons is 5 on 5, the same as full size 1/2 ton, 2 wheel drive GM trucks from about 73 to 94. But watch the width and offset, I bought a set of great looking wheels for my Olds, but when you hit large bumps in the road they touched the outer edges on the front wheelwells.

Honestly, I am tired of seeing those wheels. So very played out, IMO. Also, be careful. Four wheels for $50 is pretty cheap. Maybe too cheap. Those are steel wheels and I am not liking the look of the centers.

There is a lot to consider. Are they the correct bolt pattern? Are one or more bent? The same size as what you have now so they don't cause cleareance issues and your tires will fit? Are they really the look you are hoping for?

Sometimes the tire shops have deals on used ones and in that case you know they won't be bent, they will fit, and you will need to have your tires mounted and balanced anyway.

Having learned the lesson of bent wheels, wheels where they have tried to pull them on to bigger studs and screwed up the holes, or driven with the wheel loose and the holes are out of round, wheels where the center hole is too small for the axle flange on the rearend, one wheel that is actually one size narrower, wheels where one is cracked at the weld.............I'm always shy about buying "cheap" wheels.

Keep looking, you won't be happy with those. 5 on 5 pattern is a really popular size since gm 1/2 ton trucks, Astro vans, 1500 series and then gm full body cars from 72-76 use it. For around $450 you can have a brand new set like mine shipped to your door with caps and lugs.
