Here now is the real beach cruiser. 1968 Buick Sportwagon. I bought this fine ride two years ago from its' original owner, my father in law. It took me over 20 years to convince him to let it go. I am hopeful that this site will help me keep it running and improve upon its' fun factor.
Very nice looking wagon, and welcome to the forum, Beachcruiser. Couple of questions..... 1. Was the wagon originally 'wood delete'? 2. Your neighborhood looks vaguely familiar. What area are you in? Marshall
The vin tag shows a paint code of AA which is regal black, top and bottom. That was how it was ordered. The family has pictures of it when it was only a couple of weeks old and it looks the same today. It was the car my wife and her siblings learned to drive on. The photo was shot in the Hollywood Riviera area of the Palos Verde Peninsula in sunny SoCal. Most definitely not my hood. Thanks to all for the welcome.
Family beauty If we did not already have the '69 chevy this would be my pick of a wagon. I always loved the raised roof and sun windows on this model. My son now has the family wagon and we have a lot of fun with it. if you are in SoCal maybe we will see you at Goodguys in SD next year.
Nice Ride...Hey Dewey , is tha ride on air bags ?...if so ..do you have a build on that by chance ?...looking to bag my 71 chevy
