We sold the Kia! It sold for 1500. It isnt enough but we will it work. Stans sister and her husband bought it. She had one just like it and she loved it but it was destroyed in the tornado. They are going to finish fixing it up. Her husband is a retired master mechanic. WE DID IT!!! We move Monday!
And he bout a KIA!?!?........ don't ya think? In all seriousness... Congrats X, I'm happy for the both of you. Congrats again, and great luck with your move towards bigger and better things
Dang! I guess we have to shut down the wagon forum now due to lack of entertaining topics. CONGRATULATIONS KEYS! Did you kick it in the butt as it drove away?
Yay!!!!!! It's like being cured of the plague or something!! I'm so happy for you my friend, better things are coming!
No I didnt kick it. I patted the car and cried a little as another driver drove off in my car. But I am, nonetheless, free of it. Like I have been told here on the Forum, sometimes you just have to let it go.
I had an old 93 Chrysler Concorde bought it three years old with 60,000 on it, drove to 225,000 miles, a great car really, probably the best road trip car I ever owned, but toward the end it started nickel and diming me to death. The car didn't owe me anything, I sold it for $500.00...I felt the same way.
on some of the comments on the poor Kia! Glad its going to a good home X, hope you and Z do well on your move to the (gulp!) Windy City!
I am so excited for you. It is hard to see them go, maybe because you have such a history together...but it must have been a bit of a relief to see that back bumper going to a good home? And now you are moving...how are you getting there, what's the details? And what is the mystery that you mentioned in the other thread?
Mystery? The secret project? You will have to wait for that. We are having a yard sale Sat and Sun. We are going to try to downsize enough to fit into a rental car/van. We leave at the butt crack of dawn as soon as we can get a vehicle and get it loaded. Wish us luck on the yard sale.
Good luck with the sale.. anything left over that you don't want you should be able to drop at a Salvation Army Congrats on the sale and move
