Still some sections left in Illinois. I actually learned to drive on parts of old rt 66 and drove tractor trailers on it later. I'm not old. They just didn't make I-55 yet.
cat i dont think a tractor would fit on this section . it is only 9' wide and supposedly is the original road still and it looks and feels like it. my wagon just barely fit between the lines . i've got a ton more pics just started to unpack the wagon .here are a few more the first pic is the blue whale on rt 66 an icon for years the origonal tow tater from the belly of the blue whale you can just make out my blue whale thru the trees thankfully we never needed his services
Awesome, just plain awesome! It's a dream of mine to one day take my wagon on a trip down the Mother Road. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to more pics.
my wagon has a full air ride from ride tech with the tubular arms and everything . also has 4 wheel power discs with wilwood calipers and drilled and slotted rotors with stainless steel braided hoses. i also did rt 66 in ill this time in pontiac ,then mo rt 66 into kansas 66 into ok 66 . i am still unpacking and downloading pics , there will be a ton of pics once i get a little time. right now trying to catch up on work and get ready to take the family to orlando for a few days to celebrate my daughter's straight a's and best kid in karate class and her birthday is the 20th so we are taking her to disney to celebrate . have dinner booked in cindarella's castle for her and i'm sure she will be surprised i also met a bunch of people with wagons and got a bunch of neat wagons from the tour and different musuems to show you guys and girls
