Hey there everybody! I am just a girl who is hopelessly obsessed with station wagons. 1980's Chevy station wagons to be specific! LOL There is just something about all that chrome, those hard lines, and strength around every curve! :2_thumbs_up_-_anima My husband does not get it at all , but that's ok...thats what you guys are here for right?!!! I used to go on here when I owned my first Caprice about 7 years ago. My heart broke when I had to "abandon" her to a auto dismantler during a sudden move from L.A. to Sacramento. I have been searching since then to find another and to my surprise one came up for sale last week and I had the money to snatch her up! I will be on here bugging you guys, I am sure, in my quest at dolling up my new baby! Thanks in advance and nice to meet you all!
to the wagon train, Allie from Cali. Post up some pix of that new wagon! The 80's GM wagons are some of my favorites.
Wow the exact opposite of my wife, who thinks I'm nuts for loving these wagons. Welcome to the group Allie and hope you stick around! -Mike
Allie from Cali. As written, get some photos and some information on here. We'll do our best to make that husband of yours a real wagon lover. Maybe I'll threaten to run off with you. That'll get his attention! Have fun and hope you learn a few things about wagons and wagon owners.
Hey Guys! I put some pics in my garage, I will have to see what's up? Also going to have to tell hubby he better get with the wagon program!!! LOL You guys are awesome! I am looking to get rid of those god awful rims though, I can't even go over a speed bump without the tire rubbing the wheel well!!! And forget about turning...It sucks!!! I saw they have a few at our local Pick N Pull so I am going to have to see what I can scavenge...haha
yes sell the rims and tires and put something more suitable to the vehicle on it. the pillows blend right in!
Wow! I will have to say Allie, you're allie right in my book! Like the way you've 'remodeled' the 'way-back', too..... Welcome to our little corner of wagon heaven... And tell your hubby we've got room for him, too...... Marshall
Hi again Allie. I agree, you have to get rid of those wheels. I've always loved the old GM Rally wheels on Caprices. They make them aftermarket now, so you can get the right bolt pattern, and they are not expensive, neither are 15-inch tires. This was my '86 Caprice with 15x7 Rally wheels. Rode great, looked great, and no rubbing! Just my 2-cents! -Mike
