RE: My '62 Valiant wagon - wheels

Hi Moto Mike !! The wheels on my wagon are made by Vintage Wheel Works out of California and the size is 17x9 all around, with the 45 series tires they don't rub at all...even with turning left or right. I may put some air shocks on the rear as a precaution if I were to "fully" load the wagon though. Thanks for your kind words....I've been told that my wagon is rather ugly by several people at cruise in's / shows here in my area. Those comments are meant to make me feel bad I guess, but I'm thick skinned, they don't bother me too much. But still, it's nice to hear a nice compliment once in a while !! I've ALWAYS gone the road less traveled when it comes to cars, just me.:dancing: Ray - aka: moparlongroof

    welcome!

Love the 1st gen Valiant wagon and the Lancer wagons. I think your car is amazing. Anybody who would say that's ugly has very bland taste. Of course I drive a Studebaker Wagonaire sliding roof, so I may have weird taste. I had someone ask if it was spayed, so it couldn't have pups.
