Hi this is my first post. I own two wagons the Chrysler is my everyday driver. The 64 comet i am building into a crazy fe powered drag racer/street machine. I love wagons and it only made sense to join this site. also the newyorker has a 413, a/c, and cruse. here are some pics to go along thanks john "if you don't run you rust"
Another 'Pegger....... Welcome! We've got a few here from Winnepeg - Stormin' Norman and Handy Andy come to mind. Both of those two are Ford Fox-body experts, among other interests.... Those 2 wagons of yours sure look nice. That Comet project looks worth of it's own thread. We've got a section just for that. Marshall
Welcome to the madness! We just had another member, blacksnake, finish up a 64 Comet wagon, bet you've already seen his resto thread? That's a whole lot of carbs on top of that Mopar.
from the west coast brother dig the plans for the Comet !!! Ive got one also...that i was gonna do as a gasser....and if the kid that wants it doesnt show up with some moola soon....then i will
I love the looks of your 1963 New Yorker... I also have a 1963 New Yorker, but it isn't as well equipped as yours. I was wondering what the chrome knob under the cigar lighter was for. How well does the cruise control work with the dual carbs? I have been hunting for a cruise unit for my car, to no avail. Seems that all the old cars are being scrapped, instead of being sold for parts... Junk...
sorry it took me a while to reply but here goes there is the cruise knob and rear a/c i did not mention it but i do have the rear a/c in the wagon. i will take a close picture of it and post it thanks for the interest and your wagon is amazing! i love it
