Time to introduce myself... I just bought a 1968 Chevelle Malibu Wagon to add to my family. I'm looking forward to enjoying the same passion that my dad had for so many years. Our fleet consists of two 1968 Chevelle Coupes, one 1968 Chevelle Convertible, and one 1968 El Camino. Unfortunately the 4 door of the family was sold, but I'm happy to add a wagon to fill the gap. I'm out in San Diego, CA. I'm sure I'll be asking many questions on here so I thought I'd introduce myself and stop lurking. Ty
Wow! What a great collection. And they're all the same color. Very cool way to tie the collection together into a single theme. But it won't be complete without both a woody and a non woody version of the 68 Chevelle wagon, a 2 door post sedan and 4 door hardtop and 4 door post sedan. Then you'll need to expand the garage to fit the Canadian Beaumont versions of the 68 Chevelles. Then you'll be done. Unless you decide you may as well cover the 69 model year as well since the sheet metal is the same. You have a nice start to your collection.
ARRESTMERED, I meen CT68. If you ever have trouble moving that one on the far end lemme know. My '67 waz a 307 powered lil' pickup and it gave me five years of pure love. When the last of the vent window carz came off the line mine was ordered TRIPLE BLACK W/BUCKETS AND 396S/S... 8 MPG AT AH BUCK A GALLON AND WE WON'T TALK ABOUT THE INSURANCE PREIUMS EVEN IN '72. You've done yourself AND your daddy proudJer
My coupe (pictured in the middle) has been my everyday driver since I was 16 (I'm 31 now) so I'd have to say it's my favorite. It's definitely my baby, even with 10 mpg, leaking oil, and starting to show a little cancer. However I'd have to say my dad's coupe means the most... he bought it new and it used to be his everyday driver. It's currently registered non-op as I finish a front disc-drum conversion, everything else about it is running and ready to be driven. The plan was to finish the brakes and start driving his and overhaul my coupe... but now there's a wagon in the mix to play with. And the wagon sure does need some work...
Welcome to the forum 68!! All your cars are awesome! The wagon is in amazing condition can't wait to see it done.
to the wagon train, trouble. That line-up is just too cool! And...so is that wagon! Sure hope you never get tired of that color. I'll be anxious to see things progressing at your place.

Welcome from one newbie to another. Your collection is fantastic! I'd trade places with you any day - plus trade the nice weather of San Diego for my eastern Canadian one month of summer!!
Very Nice collection, and pretty cool they are all the same color, you definitely needed a wagon added to the lot though!!
