Going to try and get it on a trailer and home on saturday. hopefully the owner can find the keys. I can't seem to get the doors open, the drivers side is unlocked ( i think ) but with all my might I still can not get it to open. could it be just stuck from sitting - will wd-40 shot in the handle do the trick. I know I will figure more out when I get it home but it sure would be easier to load if I could at least get it in neutral. The interior is complete just very nasty many mice over the years from the looks of it. I will post mor pics when I get it back.

    Thanks for the comments

Mate, if the money is right I'd jump on it, it'd be a way cool ride with a nice set of wheels on it!!!

    1965 Chrysler newport wagon

That's a 1965 Newport wagon. I think it has a 383 in it. The newport was the cheapest wagon that Chrysler offered in '65. There was a New Yorker too (pic). If you send some pics of the dashboard and engine I can tell you what options it got. It is very hard to get parts for it, but the '66 wagon is mostly the same. (check mine)
The interior of it is mostly 65 & 66 ONLY, except the doorskins, they're 65.
It's really cool to see a 65 Chrysler on this forum!
PM me with any questions about it.
    You must open the hood:
There is a lever above the front licence plate. if you pull that down the hood will rise!

Ok the land yacht was put up on jack stands yesterday nd I noticed a small section of frame rail, about 6-8 inches that has rust through ( on the very bottom of the rail ). Can this be cut out and patched or should I scrap the whole project before it too late and have too much invested in it. The rest of the frame looks to be solid. I am also trying to get the doors unstuck and it looks like the mechanisms inside the door are just rusted really bad.

I will try to get some more pictures up this weekend
