Thanks for the idea! I have a feeling that an over head console is in the Thunderbird's future now.

Looks good, I had one in my Jimmy. It also had a screen, where you wood grain panel is, that gave the MPG(both gallons and litres), distance left in the tank and the tempature( C and F).
    Neat idea, very handy.

Hmmm, bummer about the year 02-03..... I'll never find a blue one:( I think(?) 99 was the last year GM offered colour options other than grey or tan, mite have to hunt and see if any older trucks had this.

Yeah, the paint part not so bad but the fabric...would it except a dye? But then again my daughter did dye the new headliner in the crewzer, for me and that turned out great....Oh ya got my square cut gears grinding now, Fox!

    Looks nice!

What I've wanted for my wagon for a long time is one of those overhead shelves like they make for pickups, where you just remount your visors under them. But I'd have to custom make something. Wouldn't be hard to do at all where I work, it's just getting around to it one of these years. Just pressbreak a piece of aluminum, cover it with carpet or fabric, and design some brackets that would tie the shelf to the existing visor holes.

I did this on my '96 Caprice. You can easily change the fabric on them, as the fabric part just bolts on.
