so the guy from this morning called me back.... his son is enthused about the wagon. i think he is too! good! maybe i can make wagon nuts out of them.
so barring anything out of the ordinary....such as giant crab thingys eating our trash cans.....the caprice will go to its new home....about a mile away...monday! :banana::banana::banana::banana:

just in time for me to have to drive TiKi in a freak snow storm! on tuesday!!!

well, the caprice went to its new home today. the kid that bought it seemed excited about it so i am confident that i didnt send her to her death!
i reffered him to our forum! so hopefully he will be joining us.

so i'm getting the focus. the dealer that my stepmother works for secured me the exact car i wanted. i was torn between candy blue and sonic blue, sonic blue wasn't available as i wanted it equipped so i got my mind made for me...but thats ok...i liked this color more but didnt want to pay extra but i forgot i got a discount on that too!
2012 focus se Sport 5 speed with sunroof, heated seats heated mirrors.
when i test drove one, i was amazed. my 02 was nice but this was miles above what i expected. its quiet, refined, and feels more expensive than it is..it also handled very well.

So glad to hear your wagon went to a good home. Congrats on your new Focus. I know you will get a lot of miles out of it along with great mpg.

 

we did the math... my fuel bill should be literally 1/2 of what it was with the caprice
and with what we paid off with the $ from the caprice. the new car payment will not affect our month expenses. i realize that i could have had "no car payment" but i needed a 40mpg car and i am sick of fixing rust on 2 cars.

 

I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes it makes more of a economic sense to a more modern car. You have to have good transportation now a days.

 

correct. and with that..my frustration can be focused wholly on TiKi!
