I am in Beaumont Texas and have 2 wagons. A 1955 Plymouth 2 door suburban and a 1957 chevy handyman. Both are projects that I rarely get time to work on. Hoping for some guidance in tracking parts, restoring and getting them on the road where they belong. The plymouth is a booger finding glass and rubber. So, Howdy and I look forward to meeting you guys and gals.
Welcome. looking forward to seeing pictures of both of your wagons. Fannie will be disappointed that you don't have a Beaumont wagon though. She'll expect to see a Beaumont wagon like hers when she sees the title of your post.
Welcome BrandonG, glad to have another Texan on here!!!!!!!!!! Look forward to seeing some pics of your rides!!!!!!
Welcome to the madness Brandon! Sounds like a couple really cool wagons, can't wait to see a couple doz of each!
You bang on Jim. It's a mazing how quick thoughts go through your head. I read the title and thought I read from Texas and thought a Beaumont in Texas...huh...but cool Then I read about his real wagons and thought, well that's still cool... so BrandonG, that was a good one you had me hook, line and sinker.
Sorry about the confusion. I did not even think about the Beaumont Car. And thanks to a lead from one of you guys, I think I found the rubber I needed. They did not even know what it fit, but verified and I will be getting it in a week or two. Now just glass. I forgot, but I also have a lonely little rusty 1950 Willys wagon at the back of my barn. Thank you for the warm greeting.
By the way, I posted some reference picts in my Garage. I have not shot anything else in years. I will try to do a in progress series as I get to work on it more.
If those are the "before" pictures, I'm really looking forward to seeing the pictures of the completed project. looks good. What are your plans for it? By the way, every time this thread title appears as the most recent post for the forum, Fannie will do a double take when she sees the word "Beaumont" even those she now knows its not a Beaumont wagon.
