Woke up to 6+ inches of snow today and still snowing!

Put my summer tires on friday for a road trip yesterday, on the way home heard on the radio a snow fall warning!

How much did you get Fannie?

Don't they call a late snow free fertilizer for the farmers?

The Farmer's Almanac calls for Georgia, yes Georgia in the southeastern US, getting snow this year in April. I have held off the first round of weed feed for my bermuda lawn until the middle of the month as a precaution even though the grass has almost fully emerged from dormancy. Weird huh? Stay tuned!

No snow to report in NW Florida boonies. Sorry to say we had to shut the windows last nite. It got verrrry cold. I believe under 60 degrees! Now around 80 and sunny. Guess we won't be shoveling much of anything around here except S*@$#.:rofl2:

I remember a freak Easter blizzard in 1970 in NJ. All the plow equipment had been removed, and the state came to a stand still until they could get all the plows back on and the roads cleared. This isn't the first year for weird weather.

Let the dog out at 4:30 and the driveway is clear, residual heat from the pavement!

It's hit and miss usually, but most years it seems Santa Claus has to be one to bring the Easter baskets. But not this year.

60F very cold at night? All week I have woke up to 10F. Daytime highs are not even up to 60F. A few years ago April nights were -20F and -25F for awhile. But it depends on what you're used to.

I remember many spring blizzards too. You think it's turning to spring then winter comes back with a suckerpunch.

We got about the same. We(mom, sis and I) went out to a dinner theater last night. When we came out, just after 10:00, it had been snowing for a while but was only sticking to the cars not the road. It was hard to see driving but we made it. It was a bit of a surprise to see so much this am. As for the free fertilizer, I have heard a few folks refer to it today as sh**. :rofl2:

Speaking of free fertilizer, there is often an abundance right here in the forums. Not sure what the farmers can grow with it though!
It was so chilly here we had to keep the windows closed till around 10AM. :(

More than awful. I got up this morning and poor Dollie had on her Snuggie because the furnace was turned down. Don't know how she survived in Illinois then Minnesota.:disagree:
