Great combination! Looks awesome! I'm envious. What size/year is your Airstream?

    Airstream

She's a 1973 Tradewind. 25 foot trailer. Sleeps 4, one pull out coach for two, two single beds in rear. She also has 2way fridge/freezer, stove, oven, heat, A/C, bathroom with shower, and tons of storage. MPJ

Love your combo. We also have a tradewind, a 1960, for behind the '57. Until this year we've been towing a 1951 Flying Cloud Airstream with the wagon so this will be interesting with the longer trailer.

We don't see too many wagons hauling vintage Airstreams any longer. So many people have this "bigger must be better" syndrome so have moved to big trucks. The wagons do quite nicely actually, as they did when these trailers were built.

You must get quite a lot of attention when you are towing. It is fun to blow peoples perceptions in to the weeds.

MPJ - you are killing me :banghead3:

I see your pics here and I think OMG, I gotta get my wagon rear diff done so I can do some hauling of the Airstream with it this summer.

THEN, I go to the "other forum" and there are the pics again - taunting me, haunting me, making me feel like I'm an underachiever for not having my wagon done and ready to haul the trailers.

There are a bunch of folks on this forum who have wagons and Airstreams. Wix is one. Would be nice to see some pics of them - and anyone else who tows any kind of trailer. Great idea for a thread, think I'll initiate that.

One question for you - what does the mileage do when you are towing versus not? A big drop or close to the same?

Safari, your not an under-achiever, my T&C still needs body & paint, engine rebuild, suspension and brake work. It just got coupled for the first time for pics. Xenon, thanks love that grille too, I'll try and post some interior shots, might not work as I have already posted them. Look in my St[IMG][IMG]ats for other threads. MPJ
