My 95 RMW is not directing air to the floor, instead its taking to the defrost vent. I assume probably a vacuum problem in the dash. Has anyone dug into the dash before with this problem and if ya did how big of a job is it??

No vacuum to the heater control should default to the air coming out the defroster.

Probably a broken vacuum line somewhere. On most of my GM cars, the vacuum line to the interior (heater control) comes through the firewall on the passenger side and it gets really brittle there on the engine side from heat. Several of them have cracked the vacuum line right there.
