Hedgeclipper or a machete should be fine. I was able to get to most of them without too much trouble. I believe he's pretty reasonable in his prices, bring cash because he isn't set up for credit cards.

I noticed a lot of pics of the front doors ... did the back doors look alright too?

I can grab pics if anyone in the SC/GA/NC/N.Fl/E.TN area wants me to look for anything specific.

The back doors were good also in most of them, there is enough cars there that you should be able to get you a good set for your car..

So, created my list of parts. Selected about 8 hours of roadtrip music. Got Vick's programmed into the GPS. Was all set to go out this Saturday (3/3/2011) to grab all those delicious little parts off of the other Squires. Hedgeclippers in the trunk. My Chilton guide in the trunk. Tools in the trunk. All set to go...

Decide to check weather.com really quickly to see how everything looks.

    80% CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS. :slap:

Will have to delay until next week...

After you finish going through the junkyard, go grab a bite to eat at Bantam Chef in Chesnee. The owner is a avid Studabaker collector and the restuarant is packed full of memorabilia.

I'm trying to think of the wagons that are in there..here's a partial list of of what I can remember seeing in there.
several assorted 77-90 GM "box" wagons
a few 79-91 Ford full sized wagons
    69,70 Country Squires
1 75-78 Plymouth "b"-body wagon and at least one 74-78 C- body wagon
    No 71-76 Clamshells
    a few 68-72 GM A body wagons.
    1960 Pontiac wagon,2 60-61 Rambler wagons, 57 Pontiac, 53 Ford Ranch wagon
around 4 or 5 73-78 Ford Country squires, and a couple of mid 70's Torino's to boot. And I did see some 73-77 GM A-body wagons and 78up GM A body wagons also.
    and some 55-57 wagons also.
Some of the eariler model wagons are kinda rough. Many of 50's models have been sitting outside for 35-40 years. This is what I can remember off the top of my head. I even spotted a couple of Opel wagons in there. Best bet would be to call them at 864-461-9071.
    I didn't see any 91-96 GM B-Body's in there....

There was a early 60's Opel 2 door wagon, but there wasn't much left it could offer except some glass and stainless trim. They had a 73-74? 2 door Opel wagon also, and I think a sedan or two. Here is some assorted wagon pics from there...

The first pic is that early 60's Opel wagon. I currently don't have a picture of the other one. I may just have to go down there and shoot pictures of all the wagons I can find....

Just checked the weather channel -- no rain.

A bit cold, but thats no problem.

    Got my list of parts:
    a. Four arm rests
    b. Right front lights
    c. Metal plate under the tailgate window
    d. Left rear moulding all the way in the back for around the woodgrain
    e. 3rd row seats
    f. Front seat seat cover or whole seat
    g. Steering wheel? Or just the moulding in the center
    h. Molding above the glove box
    i. The pin for the driver sun visor
    j. Door pulls and moulding (faux wood)
    k. Roof rack rails
    l. Roof rack rear wind deflector
    m. Any metal light parts for the interior if they are shiny and cleaned up (lol -- not likely)

I am ready to rock. Leaving at 5:00am. I'll get there at ~9:00am and have 3 hours to explore and pull parts.

I hope you have a wonderful time. I just thought of something, there is some motels in the Spartanburg SC area near where I-85 and US 221 intersect at, maybe if you had to go back for more stuff, you could stay at one of those places then you wouldn't be rushed the next morning...anyway I hope you find everything you are looking for!
