I have two old Ford wagons. a 68 Country Squire with a 390, and a 66 Country Sedan with a 428. Neither one is road worthy at the moment, but hopefully soon. I DO need a 1966-1968 tailgate if anyone
you are in the right place to find help with what you need. However we will need a little proof that they actually exist.
Thanks for all the welcomes! I also have a 1964 Dodge 440 wagon, but looked at it yesterday, and it is too far gone to fix... (It sat outside 30 years) I will get some pictures as soon as I can.
Good! Another 66 Ford in the Forums! There are a number of other 66's in here. Doesn't matter if the cars don't run right now. When you get a chance, let's see some pictures. Welcome aboard.
Welcome, sounds like a nice fleet of cool wagons! Looking forward to seeing those pics, hope you find the parts needed. Arvid Svendsen
Jim, sounds like you have the cars from my era……………………. but as we all say.. >>still looking for a tailgate window crank foe my '64 Impala<<
Welcome to the forum, Jim. With those 3 'finds', we need to help you get at least one of them on the road! Saw your note on the tailgate. You're not the only one around here looking. Maybe we should start a new section, and call it 'Tailgate Central'....... - Post up what you need, and if you see one, post up what you find. Marshall
Jim Engel running or not have fun here and enjoy the forum. With some photos we may be able to get those bad boys running. Maybe we need to start a tailgate party finding tailgates for station wagons. I had to do a lot of fibreglas and bondo work on mine. Fibreglas and rustproof paint does wonders. Never give up on the original if that's all you have. Mine's been patched 25 years and that's a lot of slamming. Tailgates seem to hate water leaks.
