This isn't the best pic but it's the only one I could quickly find of the rear angle of the MGB rear fenders......

The wheel well on our little red friend is more circular.

Yeah, for sure. And the tail lights more vertical. The first thing that came to my mind when I looked at this pic was the VW square back fenders. I see this one is right hand drive. I am no good at this guessing game, anyway, for some reason, and I have to admit that this one has me stumped completely. I wish there were more pix of different angles.

Yeah, I'm stumped as well. I'm going to go get some things done and think about it some more. That back end screams vw.:banghead3:

Barking up the wrong tree. Hint: It's not German but you're on the right continent, lol.

Now for a little musical enjoyment while you ponder and beat heads against the wall.

It may be but it isn't that model nor year... I refer to my previous observations regarding the lower body panels and glass...

Well, I went outside and messed around with the wagon. I'm not any closer to having an answer...

    Whoops grabbed the wrong pic.
The "contour" on the lower quarter you mention is the shadow from the fence.

Still not an exact match for the pic, but very close.

Well I think(?) your rite, but maybe we should wait till MotoMike says yes/no:)

Thats a Humber wagon, have a (not mine) sedan sitting beside my stuff, in my barn. The gas fill up is (can't remember left or rite) one of the bottom reflector lites witch un-screws
